What is abundance

The word ‘abundance’ seems to be an overused and worn out word nowadays. Everyone throws this word around as if it were a piece of confetti. I am sure I have done that in the past as well. But what is abundance?

These last few days have really been making me think about the true meaning of the word for me. What is abundance to me? What sensations are top-of-mind when I feel abundant? And of course, what do I feel when I am not abundant?

These are some of the questions that have been tumbling around in my head and I wanted to answer them in this blog post, so that I can clarify my thoughts, and hopefully, teach you something in the process.

[Ep 22] The Universe is Perfect and We are Deserving of Abundance

In this episode, I’ll be talking about something that I deal with every day. It’s the feeling of not deserving what I currently have (abundance) and feeling extreme guilt for all that I am lucky enough to have.

For example, a few days ago, I had a full day filled with amazing conversations with friends. We spent hours discussing current events, politics, and other interesting topics. I went back home feeling loved, happy, and cheerful. I felt like everything was right with the world. There was this peace and contentment in my heart that just felt so right. I felt in complete alignment with the universe.

Even though the day was perfect, I still had a random thought. “Do I deserve having these amazing conversations with these amazing people?” and even “Do I even deserve to be happy?”

These thoughts are pulling me back and down. I have to consciously stop thinking this way. It is blocking the flow of good karma, joy and opportunities my way. I was sabotaging myself.  (more…)

My Meditation Practice Has Affected Every Single Aspect Of My Life

When I first started meditating, I did it, because it sounded like a good way to learn more about myself. Who am I, I asked in my journal over and over again. They said, meditation is a good way to get to know yourself. For whatever reason, I have always been interested in learning and knowing more about myself. The physical world is awesome, and I like living in it. But I spend a lot of time in myself, in my head, and in my body, trying to figure out who am I and all of those fun questions.

In addition, I only feel attracted to people who are on the same journey as I am. The people who ask the difficult questions, and who sit alone with themselves while they ponder these intriguing questions.

Who am I? Why am I here? What is going on in this world? Why does it feel like everything is going to hell in a hand-basket? How can I be the best person possible in every moment? Why do I feel like such a failure at times? What can I do to leave this world a better place than when I came into it? Am I doing the best I can in every moment? Where will we go from here? Will it resemble Earth in any form? Do past lives exist? If they do exist, is time non-linear and are all past lives happening all at once? Do parallel universes exist? Do ghosts, fairies, and unicorns exist? Why do I believe that this world is magical and everyone is good?

A little background on me. I used to have a poverty mindset.

There, I said it.

I used to believe that I’m not worthy of luxuries.

Maybe you are in the same boat? Maybe you believe you don’t deserve nice things. I want to share my story with you and how I changed my life to the way I live right now; spontaneous, open, and abundant.
